Infinitely Variable Speed Capability Now Available on EC Model Hoists — at the Push of a Button

COFFING EC-V Models — Redefining Lifting — now feature a Variable Frequency Drive. The compact size of the drive unit allows neat and complete placement under the cover of the hoists. This new option enhances the standard hoist's features: mechanical load brake, motor brake and overload clutch.

· VARIABLE FREQUENCY DRIVE BENEFITS – The VFD allows for unsurpassed load-spotting and inching capability. The VFD offers additional speed flexibility that standard 2-speed motors cannot offer. The soft starting and stopping of the unit is perfect for delicate applications. Variable Frequency Drives can also be externally mounted to Motorized Trolley Units.

· VARIABLE FREQUENCY DRIVE FEATURES – In-field, instant programming - from infinitely variable (12:1 speed ratio) to any intermediate, predetermined speed range. 24-VAC control inputs built-in.

· CONTROL OPTIONS – The standard 2-step buttons allow the operator to increase and maintain the lifting or lowering speeds. The optional 3-step buttons allow the operator to increase, maintain or decrease the lifting or lowering speeds.

· CAPACITIES & LIFTS - Rated loads from ¼ to 3 tons, with lifting speed of 5 to 64 feet per minute depending on the capacity. Standard lifts of 10, 15, and 20 with other lifts available. Standard push-button drop is 4-feet less than lift.

· VOLTAGE & MOTOR OPTIONS - 230; 460; 208; 380; 575 - three phase. 60 hertz standard or 50 hertz available.

· SUSPENSION OPTIONS - Rigid or swivel top hook, lug, plain, geared, and motorized trolley available.

· DURABLE CONSTRUCTION - Built in compliance with ASME/ ANSI B30.16.
